Having commenced trading in 1984, Smith Equipment has over 35 years experience in supplying the heavy equipment industry with quality used earthmoving equipment, heavy equipment rentals, spare parts, components and attachments. We employ a dedicated team of specialists in heavy earthmoving equipment ranging from highly experienced fitters to a new and used parts sales team.

Location

Smith Equipment is located in Dandenong, 40km south east of the Melbourne CBD. It is located adjacent to the Eastlink toll way providing fast and efficient transport access.

Infrastructure

The Smith Equipment facility is located on 2 hectares and comprises two large combined workshop / warehouses together with machinery display and machinery dismantling area.
Our combined warehouses and workshop cover an area of 4000 square metres and are fully equipped to service all the requirements of the heavy earthmoving industry.
Warehouse A contains new and used parts sales and high density storage of all these parts. Dedicated machinery repair and dismantling bays are complemented by full AQIS approved machinery wash bay (supplied by rainwater storage tanks). Full powertrain component repair workshop and separate hydraulic cylinder repair areas ensure that all repairs can be completed in house. We have recently added a new hydraulic honing machine to compliment the existing repair room.

Warehouse B contains offices and board room plus large parts storage. In addition a clean room has been constructed to provide state-of-the-art fuel pump refurbishment and repairs.
